ok i have a coupla stories
i have a 90 Z w/ 78k kms (48k miles) with stillen x-pipe and SS air filter..more coming soon ;])
you can say im lying if you want but this is how they happened..
first, i pull around a corner behind a 95 stang gt, pull into the lane beside him and punch it, we both even until we let off..around 110 (km/h im in canada)
next, a guy i know drives a 97 z28, so he drives up beside me, so i gun it we are both weaving in and outta traffic, then finally find a spot to open it up, he gets out before me and gasses it, i floor it too and he doesnt pull on me at all...i was suprised to say the least
And then today, my buddy's awd tsi (97) talon...hehe
we stop at a light, and we are both ready to go, so light turns green, i smoke the tires a bit but he jumps out in front (im auto hes standard) and gains a bit more as i hit second, but then i hit third and goddamn...i just fly by him. He was like WTF!?! i need a turbo upgrade heheheh
And then going to get gas tonight, i see an older (87?) supra turbo. First light we are at i wasnt really expecting him to race, but he does so i gun it to catch up, then we both rolling beside each otehr talking, and then we gun it..from like 70...and i must say i was impressed at how fast he moved, it took me awhile before i passed him. And high end is my strong point too. Guy was really cool about it, definitely a good experience.But alas..i do have one loss hehehe
this is when i was 100% stock (i know those mods shouldnt have made much of a difference but...well..im kicking ass so far)
A guy i work with drives a 96 VW golf gti vr6. he has a sport exhaust, gutted cats/no resonators. and a specially designed ecu. I was with my GF in that one and he just kicked my ass the whole way. Am gonan have to organize a rematch with him hehehe. WEll those are my stories hope they were entertaining for you. NA Power! =]
